TIG Process
The Process – Mobile TIG Welding
When it comes to welding, despite whichever type it is, the fundamentals of how to get the job done remain the same. Similar is the case of Mobile Tig Welding, it is different from other traditional methods of getting the work done but the process and efforts needed behind the machine remain unchanged. Welding requires skill, knowledge and equipment handling, practically every equipment and structure requires weldment to be made into a complete functioning form. Hence the requirement for welders and companies that can be contracted to provide the desired activities are hired. The variety of processes available on how to weld is significantly different from one another based on the type of machinery being used.
Selecting a machine best suited for welding isn’t much difficult, but different machines functioning on different dynamics are fundamentally different in their functioning. Yet on the surface, same results are achieved despite the use of different machinery. When a permanent long lasting joint is required, it is wise to consider welding as an option. There are many other alternatives to it as well such as brazing, soldering, and use of adhesives, nuts, and bolts etc. the welding process, however, gives promising result and the entire process of weldment can be divided among two broad categories.
Fusion Process of Welding

Fusion, as the word clearly suggest is the joining of two substances. The fusion process of welding takes account for the cleanliness of the surface being weld as well as the placement of the two surfaces which are to be welded together. This process also takes measures to prevent the metal from oxidizing while the fusion is being done and ensures that the pool of molten metal joins the two substances.
Solid Phase Processes of Welding
This TIG process does not require the metals to be in molten form to be joined to one another. The substances are heated via the use of friction and slid together under pressure, this in returns frees the substance from contaminants. The friction the metal is being subjected to the stops, an increase in pressure is created which permanently joins the surfaces together.
Any device being used for welding will follow any one of these two fundamental processes, based on the project requirements. The essential measurements to ensure that the welding is done flawlessly requires consideration of few steps, some of which are;
• A stable power source to permit the equipment to function without a hunch. Electricity is the key to create an arc, that has temperatures high enough to melt metals and therefore join them together.
• Shielding to protect the weld from external factors such as the air. This is particularly done to prevent the metal from becoming porous and brittle due to its exposure to oxygen present in the air.
• Fillers or filler material to cover any gaps and holes that have been created. This substance acts as the contract that officially binds two pieces into a single form.
Additionally, mobile tig welding or TIG welding specifically, has six main components:
- A constant power supply
- A ground lead or clamp.
- A welding lead or TIG Torch.
- Tungsten electrode to act as the arc
- Shielding gas
- A filler wire
Professional companies providing the services have all these aspects covered and are ready to do a flawless job.
